For the design…
We work with our customers to create a design that is appropriate to their needs. The focal point of the design can display a new or existing company, a new or existing service, a location or product, a web site or phone number, or a specific event.
We will combine measurements of your vehicle with our vehicle software templates and point out areas of concern. These can be areas where a design may be interrupted by door panel seams, transitions between body and glass, and changes to body contour that may result in image distortion. They may also include mentioning body panels that show signs of rust or that have been repainted.
Prior to any panels being printed for installation, you will be given the opportunity to view a "proof" of the design. This may be in the form of an image on the computer screen, a print on paper, or an image sent via email.
All designs remain the property of QuickSigns of Rockford until a design fee is paid. If the design fee is not collected at the beginning of the process, it will be collected prior to the design being allowed to leave our premises. This includes printed media, digital media, or photographic images, but does not include viewing an image upon the monitor. Once the design fee is paid, the final design becomes available to the customer on digital media.
For the installation…
You provide us with a clean, non-waxed vehicle and we can do the rest. We can even clean your vehicle for a fee. Either way we will make sure the wrap is applied to clean and properly prepared surfaces. We will start by preparing your vehicle when you drop it off. This will include clearing any dirt or grime from the unexposed surfaces that the material will be attached to. Then it will sit overnight in our garage to make sure moisture has had time to dry from recessed cavities and the vehicle and material will be at an equal temperature. Depending on the size and complexity of the wrap, it may take two to four days to complete an installation. We will also hold the vehicle overnight after completion to perform a final inspection and to allow the material to conform to its new shape prior to being subjected to temperature changes, sunlight, and the elements. Areas we determine to be candidates for delaminating will receive extra attention. We cover the hidden edges of those areas with a thin strip of clear laminate to reinforce the joint. This extra step gives us peace of mind when providing our five year warranty. And it gives the customer an added layer of protection that will hold up to years of car washes.
Payment Policies & Prices:
$250 non-refundable design fee*: All designs remain the property of QuickSigns of Rockford until the design fee is paid. If the design fee is not collected at the beginning of the process, it will be collected prior to the design being allowed to leave our premises.
A 50% minimum down payment is required prior to the printing of any panels for installation. If the down payment is not presented until the vehicle is dropped off, the installation time will be extended to allow for the procedures involved with printing the panels. If the job is cancelled by the customer, the customer is entitled to any panels already printed but will forfeit the down payment.
Payment in full is required before the completed vehicle is released to the customer. There will be ample time to acquire funds between the time the quote is prepared and the job is completed.
Full Wraps:
Generally include…
Side body panels over entire length.
Fenders with small contour change.
Hood.
Rear hatch or lift gate / trunk.

Front grill.
Fenders with large contour change.

Hybrid Wraps:
Are full or partial wraps with cut vinyl added to areas otherwise uncovered. This may include adding a phone number or web site to a flared fender. Or adding a list of services to an area with several contour changes such as rear hatches.
Design fee is separate from installation fee.
No design is to be printed until a 50% deposit of the installation fee is received.
No vehicle is to be released until payment in full is received.
Installation fee includes surface preparation of a clean vehicle, not washing.
A $75.00 fee will be charged if the vehicle is not clean when dropped off.
Warranty covers installation and graphics to include delaminating and fading. Warranty does not cover scratching of laminate or vinyl, tearing, or damage resulting from impact or abuse.
After the wrap: When the time comes to remove your wrap, here are a few things to expect. The removal of a full wrap will expose body panels that have been protected from fading in sunlight. The length of time the wrap has been in place will affect the effort required to remove it. If the wrap has been on for 5 to 7 years, a hair dryer or other directional heat source may be useful in softening the adhesive to assist in removal. Wraps removed within a shorter timeframe should require less effort to remove. If the wrap was applied over recent, properly painted surfaces, the paint will remain adhered to the body and not the wrap material. When the wrap is applied to older or repainted vehicles, extra care may be required when removing material. Customers will be made aware of any issues they may have to look forward to during the initial written quote from us.
* This is to protect us from potential clients who would take our finished design somewhere else to have a possible competitor replicate our work. The fee may be used as a credit toward paying for the installation of that design on the model of vehicle it was designed around. A customer discussing generalities of a specific or general design on a specific or general vehicle does not constitute "design time". When the next step is taken and the customer would like us to come up with a concept, we will begin "design time".
Who: QuickSigns of Rockford, LLC is the legal entity behind SafariWRAPS.com.
What: (we offer) In addition to signage, we are a full service provider for vehicle wraps. Each step of the procedure is done in-house. This includes design, printing, and application.
Where: We are located in Rockford, IL at 1021 East State Street. Our building is at the South-West corner of State and Charles.
When: Our standard business hours for walk-in customers are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. We are available at other times by appointment and sometimes are in the shop during evenings and weekends to keep up with the workload.
Why: Vehicle wraps are essentially individualized moving billboards. When analyzed as a cost per unit over its projected usage, using vehicle wraps is a very economic form of advertising. The breakdown of the dollar amount per month easily rivals other forms of advertising. Just as most people would feel greater confidence in a bank built with marbled floors and stone walls than a bank in a straw hut with dirt floors, an expertly wrapped vehicle displays a higher level of professionalism, commitment, and longevity. Other forms of signage may be restricted due to local regulations, inconvenience, or other limitations. You might not be able to, or want to take the time to set up a large banner every time you are parked at a location or event where you would like to draw attention. There would also be the space required to properly pack a banner and its mounting hardware that would have to be taken into consideration. If you are parked in a customer’s driveway or in the street are you going to take the time to set up another form of temporary advertising? Unlike fixed billboards where there wouldn’t be company representatives in the vicinity, the wraps offer a point of initial contact with potential customers who may approach you or your driver. (The number of contacts and customers our vehicles have generated is proof.) Your vehicle parked at the race track, the motocross track, tailgating at sporting events, or other social functions may be the way to attract your next customer. Especially if you happen to be parked to attend religious services, your next lead may be the person next to you that feels more comfortable approaching someone with a similar social standing rather than cold calling names in a phone book and trying to screen out potential contractors. If your vehicle is parked outside a client’s house, the company recognition may serve a couple functions. You can put the client and interested neighbors minds’ at ease because of the company recognition, and you may receive referral business.
How: Contact us by a variety of ways. You can enter our shop, call, email us, or track us down at any of the public venues we attend. If you came up to talk to us at public event, that is proof positive that vehicle wraps attract attention and create customer leads! We will work with you on a design to optimize your message. Once a design is created and approved, your vehicle is dropped off for the application.
